On May 20 of this year, a group from Josai University led by Chancellor Noriko Mizuta paid a visit on Dalian University of Foreign Languages, where a pact between the two institutions had been signed in March. There they met Mr. Jiang Lianping, Chairman of the University Business Council, and other university representatives. This was followed by a visit to the new Lushun Campus where students in the Department of Japanese Studies welcomed the visitors from Japan with tea served in a traditional Japanese tea-ceremony.

  This latest visit provided an opportunity to deepen ties of friendship and research exchanges between students at the two universities.
