Holding of International Symposium Commemorating Winning of the Cikada Prize

Josai University Educational Corporation will hold an International Symposium Commemorating Winning of the Cikada Prize, entitled “Giving Word to the Inviolability of Life,” in commemoration of winning of Chancellor Noriko Mizuta’s Cikada Prize.

Josai has taken the winning of the Cikada Prize as an opportunity to organize this symposium by inviting the Ambassador of Sweden, previous winners, and renowned poets in East Asia to discuss Cikada as an encounter between poets of Northern Europe and East Asia, majesty of life, the world after radioactive contamination, roaming and wandering, experiences in foreign countries and poetry and expression, and the future of poetry.

We look forward to your participation.
