GLOBAL PROGRAM for exchange students of the
V4 region

FACULTY AND LOCATION OF CLASSES:

Faculty of International Humanities, JIU Togane Campus, Chiba Prefecture
Faculty of Tourism, JIU Awa Campus, Kamogawa Prefecture

Please note that in case of students coming to JIU from the fall semester for one year period of study, the academic year ends in August. However, if such need arises, V4 and Erasmus+ students can complete their exchange study a bit earlier, following consultation with their professors.

GLOBAL PROGRAM COURSES

The core curriculum consists of courses in humanities (popular culture, literature, animation/film studies), business, language and linguistics (including translation), as well as social sciences. The classes are conducted by professors from Josai International University and from its sister institution ― Josai University. We also welcome guest lecturers from universities outside of Japan. All instructors, regardless of affiliation, hold advanced degrees from leading universities in North America, Europe, and Japan.

Please be advised that the following list may be subject to change at any time. Depending on availability of teachers and popular demand, some of the courses may be cancelled and/or new ones might be added.

Moreover, the list of Japanese language courses is not exhaustive. For JIU’s Japanese language course offer, please refer to our Japanese Program description on the Language Education Center website:
