The Department of Tourism has developed a Japanese course unique to the department in order to train tourism specialists equipped with refined Japanese language abilities and manners, and to foster a hospitality and wellness mentality, by establishing a new campus in Kamogawa City Chiba, one of the foremost domestic tourist resort destinations. Within this program is the unique “Tourism Japanese” course. In this course, with a goal of “mastering a practical ability,” in addition to situational practice of the conversations necessary for hotel services, a student takes turns each time performing the role of leader who directs the reciting and practice of “hospitality phrases” from the podium.

In addition, as volunteer tourist guides they provide a tea service for actual tourists. Links:
