On January 25th 2010, Dr. Jean-Phillipe Ammeux, General Director of the Business School at Lille Catholic University (IESEG School of Management, Universite Catholique de Lille), with whom Chancellor Mizuta signed an academic agreement during her visit to the said university in November 2009, and Mr. Mathias Falkenstein, Director of International Exchange Center paid a visit to Chancellor Mizuta at Kioicho campus.

Chancellor Mizuta expressed her appreciation for the hospitality she received during her visit in last November and General Director Ammeux’s prompt visit that made the academic exchange agreement initiated.

General Director Ammeux said that Lille Catholic University is endeavored to expand its international network in accordance with the globalization and stressed that he looked forward to further exchanges with both Josai University and Josai International University.

As it was General Director’s first visit to Josai, many faculty and administrative members joined the welcoming party held after the signing ceremony.

In the meantime, Mr. Nakano Yasuo, CEO of Chiba Television Co., and the human resources director of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation attended the party and explained that students from France would have ample internship opportunities at media or finance industry through Josai.

Graduate students from Josai University who wish to study abroad at Lille Catholic University also joined the party, which signaled the active academic exchanges between the two institutions in near future.
