On February 8th, 2010 President Xiu Gang of Tianjin Foreign Studies University (TFSU) paid Chancellor Mizuta a visit at Kioicho Campus.

The President came to check on TFSU students studying at Josai International University and also notify Chancellor that the university has been renamed from Tianjin Foreign Studies College to Tianjin Foreign Studies University.

Becoming a university in China is not an easy task as it involves a lot of regulations to fulfill and procedures to go through. Hence we congratulate on TFSU’s achievement and look forward to more academic exchanges with them.
