Faculty Members from Szent István University’s Economics Department Pay a Visit to Chancellor Mizuta

On January 24, 2011, three representatives from the Economics department at Szent István University, Dean Villanyi László, Professor Guth László, and Professor/International Coordinator Vasa László paid a visit to Chancellor MIZUTA at the Kioi-cho campus.

At present there are a number of Szent István University students studying at Josai University and Josai International University. On behalf of our visitors, an academic exchange has been established between our respective institutions and we are working together to develop even more exchange programs in the future at both the student and local levels.

The following day, the representatives visited the Makuhari and Togane campuses, participated in departmental meetings regarding academic exchange, and had productive talks with representatives from the city of Kamogawa—the site of the Faculty of Tourism—regarding the advancement of the mutual exchange agreement between Kamogawa and Godollo, Hungary. Afterward, the representatives once again participated in an exchange with students and met with prospective exchange students scheduled to study abroad at the university beginning February 3rd. In addition, Dean Villanyi participated in an interview conducted by students from Josai’s Media Studies department. The representatives concluded their immensely satisfying visit by expressing gratitude for their first cup of traditional Japanese tea, served to them in the university tearoom.
