On May 28, a Josai delegation led by Chancellor Noriko Mizuta visited Dalian Business Executive Academy, where Josai honorary doctoral degree recipient Lin An Xi serves as academy president, to participate in a tree planting ceremony of twenty Mizuta sakura trees.

The Josai group found the Academy hard at work preparing for the school’s opening this September. The tree planting ceremony took place in the garden immediately inside of the school’s front gates. At the ceremony, President Lin An Xi gave a few words by saying, “We are extremely happy to receive these sakura trees from our good friends at Josai. We’ve decided to plant them in a place where they will stand out, so that people can appreciate them as soon as they enter the school’s gates. We hope to make further plans for exchange with Josai following our school’s opening in September.”

Dalian Business Executive Academy is an institution founded to provide training for special business leaders in China. The campus facilities are beautifully and elegantly designed to cater to business people and entrepreneurs. It is our hope that students coming from all parts of the globe will take pleasure at the sight of these sakura trees.
