Josai Visits Masaryk University in the Czech Republic

On June 20, a Josai delegation led by Chancellor Noriko Mizuta paid a visit to Masaryk University located in the Czech Republic city of Brno.

Masaryk University was founded in 1919 and stands today as the representative university of the Czech Republich’s Moravia region. With an enrollment of 45,000 students, Masaryk University stands as the second-largest university in the country. Rich in Japanese studies, the university opened its Japanese Studies Institute in 2008.

On this day the delegation met with Vice-Dean Ladislav Rabušic and Director of the International Education Center Dana Petrova to discuss the possibility of academic exchange with Josai.
