Celebrations continued in the Shao-Mo Memorial Gymnasium. Honorary guest Chancellor Mizuta gave an address and expressed her gratitude for the long-standing relationship by presenting a new variety of rose named after Chancellor Flora Chia-I Chang. Chancellor Chang loves flowers, and the gift delighted all at Tamkang University. Many students celebrated the anniversary by means of music and videos, which provoked many appreciative remarks. A campus tour followed, which included a visit to the library and the Robotics Center. As can be expected from a university that prioritizes brush-writing calligraphy, a robot at the Center performed calligraphy.
