On September 25th, 2008, Josai University Educational Corporation concluded an academic exchange pact with Busitema University in Uganda.

Chancellor Mizuta became acquainted with Vice Chancellor of Busitema University Mary Jossy Nakandha Okwakol Ph.D. at “A Global Dialogue-Women in Higher Education” held at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Chancellor Mizuta signed the academic exchange pact together with Vice Chancellor Okwakol in Honolulu, and promised the future development of friendly relations between the two universities.
