Ms. Song Yuhua (President of Dalian University of Foreign Languages), Mr. Liu Liguo (Director of the Japanese Language Institute), Mr. Zhao Yong (Director of the Student Office), and Mr. Su Keke (Vice-Secretary of the Japanese Language Institute) paid a courtesy visit on Chancellor Mizuta at the Tokyo Kioicho Campus of Josai International University on Wednesday, November 19, 2008.

An Academic Exchange Agreement was concluded in April 2008 with Dalian University of Foreign Languages. As a result, last September eight students from that institution were accepted at Josai University and 73 students at Josai International University within the framework of a Joint Education program.

In this latest visit, a formal signing ceremony for the Joint Education Program was carried out between Chancellor Mizuta and Director Song in order to reconfirm the partnership in that program.

Director Song and the other members then visited the Awa Campus of Josai International University. After that they visited the birthplace of the university’s founder and then had a meeting at the Kamogawa City Office with the mayor of Kamogawa City. It was a wonderful opportunity for both institutions to strengthen their ties of friendship with each other.
