Giant Christmas tree (3.3 meters high)
On December 1, the JIU Global Youth Club (JGY) presented the Tokyo Kioicho Campus of Josai International University with a giant Christmas tree, which was then installed in front of the campus entrance.
The Christmas tree was 3.3 meters high and features LED illumination in consideration of the environment. The JGY is reportedly planning another illumination for the tree in front of the Founder’s Memorial so that students, faculty, staff and local citizens can all enjoy the special atmosphere that the Christmas tree creates. The project attests to ambitious plans to turn this campus into a new famous location in Kioicho.

Information on the JIU Global Youth Club
The JIU Global Youth Club (JGY) was founded on November 1, 2008 as a special Committee to Enhance the University’s Reputation as formed by the Josai International University Alumni Association.
The JGY is composed of alumni with experience participating in overseas education programs of Josai International University including study and training overseas, etc., alumni active internationally in society, and alumni eager to promote international activities who wish to increase international exchanges and international networks. Future plans call for support of education of internationally competent talent from Josai International University, creating an environment for international activities, and contributing to raising the global reputation of Josai International University.
