On Monday January 19, 2009, Mr. Kuang Guo-zhu, the President of City Institute, Dalian University of Technology, and his entourage paid a courtesy visit on Chancellor Noriko Mizuta at the Tokyo Kioicho Campus of Josai International University together with Mr. Du Fenggang, the President of the Dalian University of Technology Foreign Language Institute.

Dalian University of Technology, the mother institution, concluded an academic exchange agreement with Josai International University in May 2007. Since then, ties of friendship between that university and Josai International University have been increasing. Now there has been signing of an academic exchange agreement with City Institute, Dalian University of Technology, which is an affiliated institution run by Dalian University of Technology, so that a signing ceremony was carried out between Chancellor Mizuta and Director Kuang.

Director Kuang and his entourage then visited the Awa Campus of Josai International University and the birthplace of the university’s founder, in addition to visiting the Chiba Togane Campus and Makuhari Campus. It was a chance to exchange views on how to further develop cooperative ties between the two institutions in the future.
