On November 19th 2009, Chancellor MIZUTA paid a visit to Budapest Business School with which Josai reached an academic exchange agreement in 2007, and has developed cooperative relationship in various areas since, and met with Dr. Éva Sándor-Kriszt, the Rector of the school. Dr. Balázs Ferkelt, Vice Rector, and Dr. Hidashi Judit, the Dean of International Management and Business Studies, also joined the meeting in order to introduce students who wish to study at Josai International University and discuss future directions of academic exchanges between the two institutions in detail.
On the next day the presentation on collective research by Josai students who came to visit Budapest Business School on Mizuta Scholarship and students of Budapest Business School was held. The presentation, given both in Japanese and English, looked into the youth culture of Japanese and Hungary from a comparative perspective; although students worked for the presentation with time restraint, they certainly displayed their collective efforts. At the reception after the presentation, students said that the study tour genuinely stimulated them to learn Hungarian language and history more actively and eagerly study English.
