On April 16, 2010 a formal ceremony celebrating Josai University Educational Corporation’s 45th anniversary was held at JIU’s Mizuta Memorial Hall.

In her opening speech, Chancellor Noriko Mizuta remarked, “there have been many gigantic changes such as the establishment of Woman’s Junior College (now Josai Junior College) and Josai International University for the past forty five years. Now the university is facing challenging issues such as the decrease in population and globalization. On our march toward the 50th anniversary, I would like to remind all of us of our college agenda of ”.

Individuals and organizations that have made exceptional contributions to the establishment and management of Josai University Educational Corporation were officially commended as part of the celebration.
