On June 17, a delegation from Josai paid a visit to Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), located in the heart of Budapest.

The group met with Vice-President Horváth Zoltán, Umemura Yuko (Professor of Japanese Studies from the School of Humanities), and others to discuss numerous topics including current and future exchange from ELTE studying at Josai, as well as plans for the Josai-Eötvös Loránd Joint Education and Joint Research Programs. As Josai offers numerous courses conducted in English, the delegation expressed their desire to accept any ELTE students interested in the Japanese study abroad experience.

Later, the delegation moved to the Faculty Club, a historic building converted from a monastery, to meet with future Josai exchange students from ELTE to discuss their plans for study in Japan and their future career goals.
