Josai Forms Academic Exchange Agreement with China Medical University

On December 29, 2011, Josai established an academic exchange agreement with China Medical University. With this agreement, we can expect exchange between the two universities in a diverse number of research areas and fields, as well as the exchange of faculty, researchers, and students.
The two schools are also in discussions about the possibility of sending students from JIU’s Faculty of Nursing to CMU for overseas training.

This agreement was reached after Josai’s visit to Shenyang last October under a delegation led by Chancellor Mizuta. During Chancellor Mizuta’s meeting with university President Zhao Qun as a part of that visit, the two were able to form a proposal for future exchange based on joint research and a commitment to building high-level human resources in the fields of medical welfare, environmental studies, caregiving, pharmacology, and linguistics. The two also discussed important issues for both countries related to medicine, social work, nursing, caregiving, and the elderly.
