On June 21, a delegation from Josai led by Chancellor Noriko Mizuta visited Hungary’s University of Szeged and formed an academic exchange agreement after meeting with Szeged Vice-Dean Béla Rácz.
The University of Szeged, founded in 1872 and with an enrollment of 30,000 students, is, along with Eötvös Loránd University, one of the most distinguished universities in Hungary.
Szeged has been channeling much energy into the development of its Japanese language program, and it is with this in mind that they forged the most recent academic exchange with Josai. The delegation was also able to meet prospective exchange students who hope to enroll in Josai this fall.
