Josai Visits Malaysia’s Management and Science University

On July 18, a Josai delegation led by Chancellor Noriko Mizuta visited Malaysia’s Management and Science University located in Shah Alam, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur.

An academic exchange agreement was formed between Josai and MSU on January 27, 2010 following a visit from university president and founder Mohd Shukri Abd Yajid and the two schools have enjoyed close relations ever since. MSU, founded in 2001, contains many departments that specialize in applied sciences with marvelous facilities in the schools of medicine and pharmacy. They’ve also channeled much energy into the areas of health and nutrition, with the day’s lunch menu designed and prepared by the students.

As a result of Josai’s visit in December of 2011, Josai and Malaysia’s Management and Science University have engaged in a faculty exchange in the field of Pharmacy. This year marks the start of the student exchange program, which will bring students from MSU to Josai’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The two schools have also arranged for Josai students to come to MSU this September and one can expect numerous other exchanges and alliances to come in such areas as pharmacology, business, and media studies.
