Josai University Educational Corporation hosted a lecture on「Potential of Local Hero Diversity」on February 24, in Building No. 3 on the Tokyo Kioicho Campus, under leadership of Faculty of Management Assistant Professor, Ryota Ishii of Josai University.
Professor Ishii specialize in Cultural history research, archeology and role of Local Hero in Society and Culture.
Approximately 90 people of wide range of age listened attentively to the lecture given from a new perspective on a mask culture in the ancient times and the social contribution that Local Hero brings into the society.
Additionally, lecture was concluded by interview with Mr. Shin Izawa and Mr. Yoshifumi Kawai from Yatsurugi Tamashii, about the origins and activities of local hero launch to the present day.
Together with the extension course, "The exposition of Local Heroes” was held as a new attempt. 16 local hero activity groups participated in the exposition aimed at creating new marketing character development, collecting and exchanging information among groups, and creating opportunities for collaboration. Visitor could explore the activity content of each hero and integrate with them.
130 visitors from the neighborhood and guest who learned about the event by Twitter watched closely all the hero characteristic stances and greetings during the photo session.
Live video from all day event program was broadcasted on Twitter and YouTube channel thanks to students of Media Faculty.
